This training is for the girl child sex worker below 18 years of age. After the girl child sex workers are removed from the streets, they undergo training on Moral behaviour change, reproductive health, and vocational skills training covering the following topics.
- Physical and psychological growth with emphasis to adolescent stage.
- Child parent relationship, impact of peer pressure, how to live a successful life as adolescents.
- Dangers of drugs abuse, dangers of abortion and family planning.
- Hygiene and nutrition
- STI prevention and management
- HIV/AIDS and home based care
The girls then join a skills training of their choice which normally lasts between six months and one year.
During the training period the girls also go through social skills, training that also includes human rights training, responsible citizenship training and governance.
